Per the request of Team Breezy, Chris Brown has released his new track “It Depends” featuring Bryson Tiller.
The sturdy banger, produced by RIOTUSA and Nico Baran, samples the bridge of Usher‘s 1997 classic “Nice & Slow.”
On the track, Brown and Tiller shoot their shot at respective love interests, assuring they are the one for them.
“You bad as hell, I treat you well, I will / It’s good, I can tell, come give me hell, come here / Your fairytale, under your spell, I am,” Brown sings in the chorus.
Tiller appears in verse two, singing, “Shawty wanna come find out what’s good with me / Well, girl, it all depends on what you need at night.”
Brown teased “It Depends” in an Instagram post on July 15. “Should I drop this?” Brown asked his 144 million followers in the caption for a snippet of the song. The post received over 1.3 million likes and 111,000 comments, signaling the overwhelming interest.
On Wednesday (July 23), Brown announced that he was dropping the song after seeing the demand. “#itdepends ‘IT DEPENDS’ Drops FRIDAY (fans requested). Since yall loved the snippet,” he wrote in a post for its cover art.
Brown and Tiller are no strangers to collaboration. Tiller previously appeared on Brown’s “Run Away” and “Need You Right Here.” They also teamed with Jeremih on his single “Wait On It.”
“It Depends” is Brown’s second single of 2025 following “Holy Blindfold,” which was released June 13. The feel-good track debuted at No. 3 on Billboard’s R&B Digital Song Sales and No. 8 on Hot R&B Songs charts, as well as No. 89 on the Hot 100.

Both tracks mark the launch of a new era for Breezy after releasing his Grammy-winning album, 11:11(Deluxe), in April 2024.
The expanded album included his Grammy-nominated, No. 1 hit “Residuals,” which is showing no signs of slowing down. At the time of publication, it’s No. 3 on the Adult R&B Airplay in its 37th week on the chart. The Blaq Tuxedo and Eric Hudson-produced track peaked at No. 1 in March.
Next up, Brown will launch the North American leg of his Breezy Bowl XX Stadium Tour on July 30 in Miami. He will be joined by special guest Tiller, as well as Summer Walker and Jhené Aiko, who will perform in select cities. The U.K./European leg kicked off June 8 in Amsterdam, visiting Manchester, London and Paris, among other cities.
In Tiller news, the “Exchange” singer confirmed his plans to release a double album soon titled Solace & The Vices. He described the Solace as “somber, vulnerable, my own personal therapy session.” He added, “Saying things I wouldn’t normally say out loud. Inspired by the season my life changed 4ever, FALL.”
Meanwhile, The Vices will feature “fun, energetic, bars on bars, summer vibes,” where he will lean into his “other side.”
