Chris Brown Announces New Single ‘Warm Embrace’ and Teases Upcoming Tour

R&B

Chris Brown is gearing up to put his Breezy era into full throttle. The R&B-pop megastar has announced his new single “Warm Embrace” will release April 1 — and no, it’s not a joke.

Brown shared a snippet of “Warm Embrace” on Instagram, stating, “Is this the BREEZY you’ve been waiting for”?

At first listen, “Warm Embrace,” which includes a writing credit from Vedo, takes Brown back to his R&B roots. It certainly sounds like another bedroom banger from Breezy.

“‘Cause when we done making love, clean it up / And I wanna wrap you in my warm embrace / And make it last forever / Girl, I catch a glimpse of heaven when you let me wrap you in / My warm embrace,” he sings.

“Warm Embrace” will follow Breezy’s uptempo single “Iffy,” which dropped in January. Both songs are expected to appear on Brown’s forthcoming album, Breezy.

A new single isn’t the only thing Brown teased. He also hinted at a summer tour in a post on Instagram Stories. Brown wrote, “Tour announcement coming soon…Me and 👀….Finna f*ck the summer up ❤️.”

Brown’s upcoming tour will follow his 2019 headlining INDIGOAT Tour.

In other Brown news, his 2015 EDM track with Deorro, “Five More Hours,” was certified platinum by the RIAA this month with more than one million equivalent units sold. Meanwhile, “Nostálgico,” his 2021 song with Rvssian and Rauw Alejandro, has been certified 5x multi-platinum.

In February, Brown gained two gold plaques from the RIAA, including “Come Together” featuring H.E.R. and for his contribution to Yung Bleu’s “Baddest,” which also features 2 Chainz.
