Every now and then, a movie is so spectacularly, brilliantly, and gloriously bad that our brains catalog it in the “good” category anyway. It’s hard to define what makes a movie good or bad since it’s all subjective, but for me, a bad movie becomes good when it’s still enjoyable despite being a terrible film.

Critic’s Rating: 4 / 5.0 4 It looks like NCIS: Origins traded in its usual gunfire and life-or-death situations for a little emotional warfare instead. In all seriousness, this had to be the most emotionally charged episode of the season. Truth be told, I wasn’t sure why the series needed to backtrack to how Gibbs
The Sopranos is a TV landmark, celebrated for its mix of psychological depth, dark humor, and gritty mob drama. But behind the groundbreaking storytelling lies a patchwork of real-life inspirations that shaped its world, from North Jersey’s notorious mobsters to the eerie legends of the Pine Barrens. While the DeCavalcante Family is often cited as
Critic’s Rating: 3.5 / 5.0 3.5 The Yellowstone Ranch is gone, the cowboys are scattered everywhere, and Beth and Jamie fought to the death. There were some strong moments on Yellowstone Season 5 Episode 14, almost as if the ghosts of how brilliant this series used to be were rising up to remind us of
I hate the CEO war stories, and this last one between Philip and Xander is one of the silliest. I have to keep reminding myself that laws in Salem aren’t the same as in the real world to accept the idea that a letter (forged or not) saying that Victor was sorry he didn’t leave
It’s been over a week since Doug’s funeral on Days of Our Lives, and people are still talking about it. You wouldn’t think that a heartbreaking event like the death of a legacy character would be the most exciting news to hit the soap in a while, but I get it. Days of Our Lives‘
Every great Christmas movie needs a villain to shake things up. Whether they’re stealing presents, scaring kids, or just being plain greedy, these characters bring chaos to the holidays — and we love them for it. But are they really as bad as they seem? (20th Century Fox/Screenshot) Some of them might just be misunderstood,
Critic’s Rating: 4.8 / 5.0 4.8 Blue Bloods ended its fourteen-year run tonight, and it’s hard to believe that it’s not coming back next week or next year. Blue Bloods Season 14 Episode 18 was an intense episode that somehow felt like every other story in this beautiful series. If it had to end, this
Not every holiday season feels like gingerbread and joy. Sometimes, you need a break from the twinkling lights and nonstop carols. Whether it’s a chaotic family gathering or just the stress of decking the halls, these Christmas movies offer a much-needed escape from the saccharine side of the season. From dark comedies to twisted tales,
Critic’s Rating: 5 / 5.0 5 Dexter: Original Sin has officially entered the scene, and it’s already giving NCIS: Origins a run for its money. While NCIS: Origins explores the backstory of our beloved Leroy Jethro Gibbs, Dexter: Original Sin takes us back to the twisted beginnings of one of TV’s most iconic anti-heroes —
Just when we thought the Prison Break franchise was over, it sounds like we’re getting another series. Deadline reported around this time last year that Hulu had put a “new incarnation” of the hit drama into development. Today, they reported that it has officially received a pilot order. Prison Break first aired on FOX in
There are sports dramas, and then there’s Friday Night Lights. While All American and other series have explored the heightened drama that unfolds on the gridiron and in the locker room, no show in modern history has consistently done so with as much heart as FNL. ESPN columnist Bill Simmons once hailed it as “the
If you look at a list of the most-watched television shows of the 1990s, you’ll find that seven of the top 10 were sitcoms. As any fan who lived through it can tell you, the decade was a golden era for three-camera, live-studio-audience comedies. Shows like Seinfeld, Friends, Home Improvement, Frasier, and Roseanne were averaging
Some of TV’s most unforgettable characters are the ones who know how to manipulate those around them. Whether through charm, deception, or psychological games, they pull the strings and stay a step ahead, making everyone else dance to their tune. These characters blur the line between hero and villain, creating their own reality and bending
Once upon a time — before binge-watching and endless streaming queues — the 1980s reigned supreme as television’s wild, experimental playground. It was the decade that dared to push boundaries, experiment with formats, and redefine what TV could be. Without it, today’s streaming giants might not even exist. Cheers (NBC/Screenshot) From sitcoms that perfected character-driven
Technology is both a blessing and a curse, and old memories can haunt you, especially when they’re the kind you can’t talk about! Seriously, what the hell just happened on NCIS Season 22, Episode 8? Just when we’re about to get a breakthrough on the mysterious “Lily,” Parker is thrown another curveball. We’ve been piecing
Will Trent Season 3 returns on January 7, 2025, and it will be the most dramatic season yet. Will Trent Season 2 ended with some major cliffhangers, and it appears the third season will have another time jump to account for the long break between seasons. For the previous two seasons, the series has featured
Critic’s Rating: 2.5 / 5.0 2.5 What might be Yellowstone’s penultimate episode should have been incredibly emotional. [Note: The show is advertising next week’s as a season finale, though previous news had stated this would be the final season.] Throughout Yellowstone Season 5 Episode 13, the ranch that was supposed to be the Dutton family’s
On Landman, Jacob Lofland’s Cooper has quickly become a character audiences are rooting for — a young man determined to carve out a place for himself in a harsh and dangerous world. Landman Season 1 Episode 5, “Where Is Home,” pushed Cooper to his limits yet again as he navigated a budding relationship with Ariana,
Former U.S. Army military police major Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) will be coming back for another edge-of-your-seat season of Reacher.
