Brent Faiyaz Releases ‘Upset’ Music Video

R&B

Brent Faiyaz has unveiled the official video for his song “Upset” featuring Tommy Richman & FELIX!

The LONEWOLF-directed video shows Faiyaz, Tommy Richman, and FELIX in custody at the ISO County Sheriff’s Office, named after Faiyaz’s creative agency.

Vignettes of activities before and after detainment, such as playing pool, police photo lineups, and lie detector tests, are scattered throughout the video.

Co-produced by Tommy Richman and Mannyvelli, “Upset” is from Faiyaz’s Larger Than Life album.

The track debuted at No. 12 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs chart the week of Nov. 11. It has amassed over 10 million streams on Spotify.

“Upset” is the third focus track from Larger Than Life. It follows “WY@,” which is the second official single. The latter, which has surpassed 22.8 million streams on Spotify, is currently No. 10 on urban radio and is the first song from the set to achieve this.

Larger Than Life was released Oct. 27 via Faiyaz’s ISO Supremacy and UnitedMasters. The project was Faiyaz’s first collection of music for his newly-minted imprint.

Guest features on Larger Than Life include Timbaland, Missy Elliott, and Coco Jones, among others. The latter act appears on “Moment for Life,” which samples Nicole Wray’s 1998 classic “Boy You Should Listen.”

Upon its release, Larger Than Life opened at No. 11 on the Billboard 200 chart, making it his second-best debut on the popular albums chart. The album also debuted at No. 2 on both the Top R&B Albums and Independent Albums charts.

Larger Than Life is the follow-up to Faiyaz’s platinum-selling sophomore album, Wasteland, released in 2022.

Faiyaz has recently released his second project of the year, titled Apple Music Live: Brent Faiyaz.

The live album captures his performances at the Eventim Apollo in London, which were recorded during the closing night of his F**k The World, It’s a Wasteland Tour second leg.
