Beyoncé is full of surprises. The music icon, who’s currently on a world tour, just dropped a remix of her fan-favorite track “AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM” featuring rapper Kendrick Lamar.
Lamar opens the intoxicating bop with fire hot verse. “I’m an honorary Beyhive, let’s see why them diamonds / Gonna be fly, they all CGI / You better get it off your chest like breast reduction / If she stressed over you, she stressed for nothin’ / Hold up, wait a minute / Even AI gotta practice copyin’ Kendrick,” he raps.
The original version of “AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM,” co-produced by Beyoncé, The-Dream and Mike Dean, is lifted from Beyoncé’s Grammy-winning album, RENAISSANCE.
The album, now platinum, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 332,000 equivalent units in the first week.
RENAISSANCE scored Beyoncé a few Grammys, including Best Dance/Electronic Music Album. She made history at the 2023 Grammy Awards to win in that category.
As noted above, Beyoncé is currently on her RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR, which kicked off May 10 in Stockholm, Sweden.
On July 8, Beyoncé will launch the North American leg in Toronto, Canada, where she will play for two nights.
Then, she will head to the U.S. to play in Philadelphia, Nashville, Chicago, New York, Washington, D.C., Miami and more. The tour will conclude on Sept. 27 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Circling back to “AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM,” it marks Beyoncé and Lamar’s third collaboration released to date. Lamar previously appeared on Beyoncé’s “NILE” from The Lion King: The Gift and “Freedom” from the critically-acclaimed Lemonade.
