Beyoncé Reveals ‘Renaissance’ Album Tracklist

R&B

Beyoncé has unveiled the official tracklist to her upcoming eighth album, Renaissance. The music icon shared the details in an Instagram Stories post.

Renaissance consists of 16 tracks, including the empowering anthem “Break My Soul” produced by The-Dream and Tricky Stewart.

Since its June 20 release, “Break My Soul” has peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. She made history as the first woman and second Black person behind Michael Jackson to have reached the top 10 of the Hot 100 at least 20 times as a solo act and 10 times as a group member.

“Break My Soul” also has been heating up radio airwaves. Earlier this month, it broke into the top 10 at R&B Radio.

Renaissance is Beyoncé’s first solo album since 2016’s Lemonade. “Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving,” Beyoncé wrote on Instagram.

“My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration. I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are.”

At the time of this publishing, no features have been announced or confirmed for Renaissance. The album releases July 29 via Parkwood Entertainment/Columbia Records.
