Autopsy Are Already Recording Another Album

Metal

Not content with the successful launch of last year’s Morbidity Triumphant, California death metal giants Autopsy revealed earlier today that they’re not only already working on a follow up, but they’re done recording the rhythm sections.

The news came in a Facebook post less than an hour ago, featuring some in-studio photos of the band and a promise that “heads will rot, roll and explode.”

HUGE, SICK, BLOODY AUTOPSY NEWS!!!
Welp…we just finished recording the rhythm tracks for our new full length album at Sharkbite Studios with Scott Evans at the helm and the wild and insane forces of Death Fucking Metal ripping and roaring in our favor. We can already assure you that this record is AUTOPSY at it’s absolute vomit inducing best. Heads will rot, roll and explode!

You may recall that Morbidity Triumphant was received very well here at MetalSucks. Reviewer Bree Halmstad enjoyed it so much that she said “there is no track on this album that is not a winner. Morbidity Triumphant proves that Autopsy still reigns supreme.”

So to say we’re excited for whatever Autopsy’s got festering in the studio would be a bit of an understatement. Obviously it’s still relatively early in the process, but when it comes around we’ll be sure to let you depraved motherfuckers know about it too.
