Earlier this morning, Finnish metal outfit Amorphis released an official live music video for the track “The Lantern” off their most 2025 album Borderland. They did so with an eye on their upcoming European festival run.
As you can see in the video posted below, the band’s operating off of 35 years in the business. Their blend of melodic metal mastery and an eye for storytelling make for a vivid live experience.
Speaking of that experience, guitarist Esa Holopainen reflected on “The Lantern”, the new video, and their upcoming festival run.
