Alex Isley Releases New Song ‘Love Again’

R&B

Alex Isley is feeling optimistic about love on Valentine’s Day.

On her latest track “Love Again,” produced by her close collaborator Jack Dine, Isley praises her partner for restoring hope in her heart.

“You make me feel like I can love again,” Isley sings over Dine’s silk smooth production. Isley’s angelic vocals are comforting and reassuring enough to remove any doubts about love.

Isley explained to VIBE, “‘Love Again’ is about how sweet it can be to have another shot at love. I’m a hopeFUL romantic, and it’s that hope that makes it all worthwhile.”

“Love Again” follows Isley’s 2021 tracks “Still Wonder” featuring Robert Glasper and “Good & Plenty (Remix)” featuring Lucky Daye and Masego.

She also contributed to Moonchild’s Starfruit album (“You Got One”), as well as covered The Isley Brother’s “At Your Best (You Are Love).”

A new project from Isley could be on the way. Days before releasing “Love Again,” she wrote on Instagram, “Oneee more single,” signaling that a body of work is next up.

The impending project will follow Isley and Dine’s 2019 EP, Wilton.
