In the midst of the friendly and competitive battle between Joey Bada$$ and the West Coast, TDE’s Ab-Soul steps back into the ring with his latest and untitled drop.

On Tuesday (May 27), the Carson, CA lyricist posted a recording on his social media where he defends his West Coast comrades and sends a warning to his competition. “Joey my lil’ homie, hold on, don’t enter the void / If you knew, clear the room ‘fore I seek and destroy,” he confidently raps.

Soulo even sent a threat towards internet personality DJ Akademiks. “Imma slap Akademiks when I see him.”

The Joey vs the West has been the hot topic of the month since Joey Bada$$ and Ab-Soul participated in the Red Bull freestyle series with Big Sean in early May.
