Dondria Finds Inner Peace on Solitude

R&B

Dondria is learning to quiet the noise. Her new single “Solitude” is a boundary-setting anthem that gives her permission to shut out the world around her for a moment of stillness.

“In my solitude / I don’t mean to be rude but I need / Some time to make up my mind,” she sings.

“‘Solitude’ is about returning to yourself,” Dondria told Rated R&B. “In a world that constantly demands your attention, this record is a reminder to quiet the noise and reconnect with who you are at your core. It’s one of the most important songs I’ve made because it speaks to something we don’t talk about enough, and that’s being okay with yourself in the silence.”

She added, “This is a personal song for me; it’s healing, and it’s honest. I want listeners to hear this record, and feel seen in those quiet moments, sit with it, and walk away a little more understanding that choosing peace is power.”
