Bridgerton‘s Season 4 trailer has arrived, and it’s, dare we say, enchanting. The long-teased masquerade ball comes to life in the dazzling first look at Benedict (Luke Thompson) and Sophie’s (Yerin Ha) love story.
Along with introducing Season 4’s leading lady, the trailer, which dropped during Netflix‘s NFL presentation on Christmas Day, also unveiled some key moments previously teased by the cast and creatives behind Shondaland’s Regency-era romantic drama. Based on Julia Quinn’s third book in the Bridgerton series,An Offer From a Gentleman, Season 4 has been hailed as the most faithful adaptation yet, and it appears to ring true based on the trailer’s inclusion of certain book scenes.
From the lake scene and masquerade to the kite scene originating on screen, Netflix is feeding fans with all of the excitement Bridgerton Season 4 surely promises. Along with previewing the primary romance at the center of this latest chapter, the trailer offers a glimpse at Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin’s (Luke Newton) married life, a budding romance between Violet (Ruth Gemmell) and Lord Anderson (Daniel Francis), as well as a glimpse at maid Sophie’s strict employer and stepmother, Araminta (Katie Leung).
