Surprising No One, Slipknots Look Outside Your Window Again Pushed Back to 2026

If you thought you were going to finally get to listen to Slipknot’s Look Outside Your Window before the year’s end, I’ve got some unfortunate news for you. It turns out that once again, things have gotten in the way of its release and it’s now looking like it’s coming out at some point in 2026.

During a recent Q&A over on Discord, Slipknot percussionist M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan revealed that Look Outside Your Window won’t be coming out in 2025 after all.

“Lets start with LOYW, i know I told everyone it would be this year. I’m very sorry its hasnt been. Things come to play that change things all the time with the art we create. I want you to know 2026 is the year. It’s just simply time and I’m just getting tired of waiting myself. Have faith. I promise.”

Remember, this album was recorded wayyyy back in 2008 at the same time as All Hope Is Gone. It didn’t come out at that time, but it was promised as an upcoming release multiple times over the years. Back in 2019, Clown said it was supposed to come out on Christmas Day. Then a few years later, it was suggested that it was coming out in 2024, then Crahan said it was handed off the management and its release was imminent. So yeah, we’ve been here before.

Hell, things have been so dragged out that guitarist Jim Root said he’s threatened to leak the album himself. Until that happens, or until it actually comes out through official channels, the waiting game for Look Outside Your Window continues.
