Syd Is Ready to Risk It All for Love on New Song ‘Die for This’

R&B

After a three-year hiatus, Syd has returned with her new single “Die For This.” It’s her first release since signing to Free Lunch Records/Warner Records.

Written and produced by Syd, “Die For This” is a devotional driven by hyperbolic lyrics about a love worth risking it all for — especially after time lost.

“I just hate to think of where we might’ve been / If I pulled the rug instead of diving in / Never hit the brakes, let’s keep the ride goin’ / Really love my life, but I would die for this,” she sings.

Further, Syd co-wrote Beyoncé‘s Grammy-winning hit “Plastic Off The Sofa” from her culture-shifting albumRenaissance.
