Full Album Stream: Sully – “Sully”

Metal

Guitarist Erik Burke has always remained busy, spending time Brutal Truth, Nuclear Assault, Lethargy, Napalm Death, Sulaco and plenty more over the course of his time playing music. Most recently, he’s playing with Sully, an upstate New York grindcore band formed during the pandemic. Releasing The Tony Demo last year, they’re back to deliver their self-titled debut LP via Horror Pain Gore Death.

Also featuring vocalist Adam Frappolli (Psyopus) and rhythm section Alex Perez (drums) and Ed Jusko (bass), Sully’s debut album is a ripping grindcore album in the classic style, occasionally throwing bits of hardcore and death metal in the mix.

“We’re pumped to finally get our debut record out!” Burke tells Decibel. “Been a bit of a road gettin here for sure but we made it! Psyched to get outta town and fill some ears with riffs.”

Check it out below; Sully is out on September 13.
