Logic Accused Of Stiffing Artist For Years In Deal For Paintings

Hip Hop

An artist claimed he never received compensation from Logic despite an alleged agreement for seven paintings, which were completed years ago. Artist Maha Sattva called out the 34-year-old rapper and shared screenshots of their past interactions in a series of posts on X (formerly known as Twitter).

“OKAY B#### YOURE A MILLIONAIRE BUT YOU STOLE 7 paintings from me,” Sattva wrote. “Pay me for them. I’m not asking for a handout, you f###### owe me for them.”

Sattva lashed out at Logic after seeing a clip from the latest episode of Logic’s Logically Speaking podcast. Logic mentioned he was a millionaire, which convinced Sattva to seek money. According to Sattva, Logic was supposed to give the artist some type of shoutout in exchange for seven paintings but never did.

The artist argued with Logic’s fans before attempting to clear up his grievance on Thursday (February 8). Sattva believed he should get paid to settle the dispute, insisting Logic screwed the artist out of the paintings.

“Logic saw some of my paintings that he liked, and so he asked me to send them to him; in exchange for him shouting me out to his millions of followers,” Sattva wrote. “This was his idea, not mine. He also had asked how much they would cost, but that never amounted to anything. He got the paintings and repeatedly thanked me for them and said he would shout me out ‘soon’ ( that’s all the screenshots you’re seeing).”

He continued, “It’s been 7 years, he’s never held up his end of the bargain, so I’m telling him to just pay the f### up since he constantly wants to brag about being a millionaire. That’s the super condensed version, there’s obviously more but, he knows and I know.”

Logic has not publicly responded to Sattva’s accusations as of yet.
