Musical forces Lionel Richie and Earth, Wind & Fire have announced more dates for their Sing a Song All Night Long Tour.
The second leg, which consists of 13 dates, begins May 23 in Knoxville, Tennessee, at Thompson Boiling Arena. From there, the legendary acts will play in Birmingham, Memphis, Orlando, and Buffalo before concluding June 16 in Pittsburgh.
Presale tickets will be available Wednesday, Jan. 17, at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, Jan. 19, at 10 a.m. local time. There will be VIP packages and experiences for fans to enjoy as well.
Richie and Earth, Wind & Fire launched their co-headlining tour in late summer 2023.
Later that fall, Richie embarked on Dancing on the Sand, an immersive three-night Bahamas experience at Atlantis Paradise Island. It featured additional performances by Sheryl Crowl, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Vanessa Carlton, Megan Moroney and Jake Wesley Rogers.
In 2022, Richie was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, along with Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Harry Belafonte, Dolly Parton, Eminem, Carly Simon, and Jimmy Iovine, among others.
In the same year, Richie also received the Icon Award at the American Music Awards, where he was honored by Stevie Wonder and Ari Lennox.
Richie will return to American Idol for its 7th season on ABC (22nd overall), which premieres Feb. 18.
As for Earth, Wind & Fire, the iconic band is set to go on tour with rock band Chicago in July. Their co-headling Heart & Soul 2024 Tour, which will visit 30 North American cities, will conclude Sept. 7 in Palm Desert, California.
Earth, Wind & Fire are currently nominated for Best Traditional R&B Performance at the 66th Grammy Awards for their appearance on Victoria Monét’s JAGUAR II album cut “Hollywood.”
Philip Bailey of Earth, Wind & Fire also collaborated with BJ The Chicago Kid on “Never Change” from his 2023 album, Gravy.
