Narcotic Wasteland have hit us with another dark, campy gem in the form of “Sex, Lies & DNA.” We have the video for you first.

The thrashy, aggressive new single is the latest from the band led by Dallas Toler-Wade of Nile fame. This track features guest vocals from Andrea_N_Black and takes on the beloved death metal fodder of true crime.

The video for “Sex, Lies & DNA” was directed by bassist Kenji Tsunami, also of Tsunami Films, and shot at various locations during the band’s summer tour across the U.S. and Canada.

“In this video, I am once again blown away by the work of Kenji Tsunami at Tsunami Films,” says Toller-Wade. “It really brought more life and grit to the song. We recorded the footage while on the last tour in different locations. One of the venues we played at on the tour had an electric chair and a really creepy green room area that looked like a place where someone could be murdered. At that point, the band was like, “This is perfect!”

The song will be on the band’s forthcoming album, Digital Cordyceps, to be released on Megaforce Records in 2024, with a specific date to be released soon. You can stream the single here.
