Chlöe is ending 2021 on a high note. “Have Mercy,” the lead single off her forthcoming solo debut album, has just hit number one on urban radio, making it the 23-year-old’s first-ever chart-topping single both as a solo act and as a member of Chloe x Halle.
The rump-shaking track, which she co-produced, held Chlöe’s first solo top ten title on this airplay chart back in October. She previously achieved similar results with her sister Halle (Chloe x Halle) for the certified-gold single “Do It.”
As of right now (Dec. 10), “Have Mercy” has been played more than 69.7 million times on Spotify, while the supporting visual has been seen 43 million times.
Chlöe, currently attracting attention for her YouTube rendition of Adele’s “Easy On Me,” performed the single at the American Music Awards last month. Around the same time, she teased a new song on Instagram.
