Kaytranada Releases ‘Intimidated’ EP

R&B

Kaytranada has dropped off a three-song set titled Intimidated. The nine-minute project features guest appearances H.E.R., Thundercat and Mach Hommy.

The Haitian-Canadian producer went to Twitter to express his gratitude. “Really blessed to work w/ amazing vocalists. Most of my beats can’t simply be instrumentals so to be where I am now, would’ve been nothing without them or maybe different,” he tweeted.

Intimidated is Kaytranada’s first project since releasing his Bubba album in 2019. The album earned Kaytranada a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 63rd ceremony in 2020. He made History on Music’s Biggest Night as the first Black artist to win this award in its 16-year history of existence.

He also took home an award for “10%” featuring Kali Uchis, which won Best Dance Recording.
