Serpentwithfeet Releases New EP ‘Deacon’s Grove’

R&B

Serpentwithfeet made ambitious strides this spring with his album Deacon. He continues to speak to his diligent congregation with his companion EP, Deacon’s Grove.

The brief set consists of five tracks, including the already shared “Down Nuh River” and the newest “Shoot Ya Shot,” where he submits to his partner’s many sexual aspirations after a hard day.

The new material features vocal support from Ambré and Alex Isley, who appear on the official remix to his first single, “Fellowship.” They tell their stories of togetherness and gratefulness for their circle of friends.

Speaking in the sonic direction of Deacon’s Grove, Serpent commented, “I wanted this EP to feel loving and a little playful.”

Touring Deacon’s Grove, as well as Deacon, is in the works for Serpent. He will launch a headlining tour on February 12, 2022, playing ten additional shows across North America.

Tickets for Serpent’s string of 2022 concert dates will be available today (Nov. 5) at 10 a.m. on his official website

Deacon featured several early singles, including “Same Size Shoe” and “Heart Storm” featuring Nao.
