A new Kehlani era is upon us.
The Grammy-nominated singer has announced her new album, Blue Water Road, will arrive this winter. Her announcement was accompanied by a cinematic, minute-long trailer.
“Coming out of the rubble of It Was Good Until It Wasnt and into the light, on to the road,” Kehlani wrote on Twitter.
Blue Water Road will follow Kehlani’s 2020 album, It Was Good Until It Wasn’t. The album included features from Jhené Aiko, Lucky Daye, Masego and James Blake. There isn’t a release date set as of yet.
In related news, Kehlani has kept busy this year outside of her own music. She appeared on Pink Sweat$’s “At My Worst (Remix),” T-Pain’s “I Like Dat,” Ant Clemons’ “Section,” Amorphous’ “Back Together,” and Kiana Ledé’s “Ur Best Friend.”
