Drake ‘Certified Lover Boy’ Debuts At No. 1 On Billboard 200

The boy is back.

Hey everybody, Drake’s Certified Lover Boy album is featured at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts.

In its first week, Drake’s sixth studio album moved 613,000 equivalent album units with 46,000 of the sum in traditional album sales. 562,000 of its SEA units equates to 743.67 million on-demand streams from its 21 tracks.

CLB now marks the biggest debut of 2021, which was previously held by rival Kanye West’s Donda. It is also the largest debut by a rap album since his very own Scorpion album in 2018. Drizzy also among the eight artists in Billboard history to have 10 or more No. 1s. He joins The Beatles (19), JAY-Z (14), Bruce Springsteen (11), Barbra Streisand (11), Eminem (10), Elvis Presley (10) and Kanye West (10).

The 6 God’s previous chart-topping projects include Thank Me Later (2010), Take Care (2011), Nothing Was The Same (2013), Views (2016), Scorpion (2018). The Boy also debut at the top with his Care Package (2019), If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late (2015), What A Time To Be Alive with Future (2015), and More Life (2017).

Released on September 3, Certified Lover Boy features “Way 2 Sexy” featuring Future and Young Thug and boasts collaborations from JAY-Z, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Travis Scott, KiD CuDi, Lil Baby, 21 Savage, Lil Durk, and more.
