Sammie Shares Inspirational EP ‘3:33’

R&B

Sammie is now on the right road and takes his testimony to the altar on his new three-pack EP 3:33.

In a series of Instagram posts, Sammie broke down the purpose of releasing the project he dedicates to his late grandmother Angil.

He said, “I was born in a small city in Florida where many don’t make it out alive. I’ve been able to reach millions via the gift of song for 22yrs and counting. I began singing in Lake Ida Church of Christ so I knew that one day I would return to Kingdom music. What better time than now. This world is not cold, it’s the lost souls in it that makes it seem as such. Grandma Angil, I will be fulfilling my promise to you, to minister to the masses and to bring Glory to Jehovah via the gift I’ve dedicated my life to mastering.”

He added, “I pray that this makes you proud and I pray it brings some solace to you, for I know you’ve always prayed to Him that me, your grandson would not gain the world only to lose my soul.”

3:33 marks Sammie’s first release since the new song “Crazy,” commemorating his 34th birthday in March.

In 2020, he released videos for the songs “All Night” featuring DJ Luke Nasty and “Peace.” Both tracks appear on his last album, Such Is Life…, which also arrived last year.
