Mereba Is Coated in ‘Go(l)d’ in New Video

R&B

Everything that glitters is “Go(l)d” in Mereba’s new video.

For this radiant visual, Mereba is back under the guidance of director Sean Frank, who oversaw the stormy “Rider” video. She is seen here at the mercy of a glaring beam of amber that draws attention to her melanin skin. Hands not of her run through her braided hair and across her eyes, seemingly to prepare her for what’s next to come in life.

“The making of this video was one of the most magical challenging experiences of mi life thus far. Shit got real,” wrote Mereba in an Instagram post.

The video comes nearly two months after the release of her latest EP, AZEB. At the end of April, she dropped the project’s official lead track “Rider.”

Mereba made her BET Awards debut in June. Re-watch her performance here
