In support of his upcoming film, Red Clay, 2 Chainz releases the soundtrack’s latest single, “Not The Same” featuring Ne-Yo.
Directed by Howard Ross, the Atlanta rapper touches on perseverance and his come up during a gathering at a house in the city’s boondocks. “Niggas had that garbage ass weed, I had the trash can / Playaz Circle for life, nigga, never forget it,” he raps alongside Ne-Yo and an abundance of eye-candy. He continues, “5540, we was handling business / God help us accept the things we can’t change / From trapping in the rain to on the stage with Wayne.”
