Madi Watkins from Year of the Knife has been slowly making progress since the band’s tragic van accident, and recently, she and her husband Brandon Watkins filmed a video for fans.
Since the band’s latest update, she has taken her first steps since the accident and is also able to eat solid food. Previously, as part of her recovery, her jaw was wired shut.
While the video was still very brief, Madi had an important message for all the fans who have been standing by the band’s side:
“Hi everyone, we love you. Thank you for supporting us.”
