WanMor Releases New Song ‘Baby’

R&B

Emerging R&B quartet WanMor has released their new single “Baby” via Mary J. Blige‘s Beautiful Life Productions and 300 Entertainment.

Produced by Hitmaka and The Breed, “Baby” is a heartwarming ode to a love interest. “Baby, you know I’m so proud of you, I keep it a hundred with you,” the croon in the chorus.

“Baby” is the follow-up to WanMor’s cover of “Please Don’t Go” by Boyz II Men.

The four brothers’ rendition of the song, originally performed by their father Wanya Morris, was produced by Blige. They released it in late December 2023.

“Baby” and “Please Don’t Go’ could appear on a forthcoming project from the group.

In spring 2023, WanMor released their self-titled debut EP. The seven-track offering included the singles “Every Pretty Girl in the City” and “Mine.” Rapper King Combs appeared on the official remix of the former track.

WanMor was announced as the first act signed to Blige’s Beautiful Life Productions in 2022. “There’s been so much conversation about the state of R&B, and the next generation of R&B artists. This generation has been giving us great R&B, and that feeling, that soul and that sound remains in our DNA,” said Blige.

“When we heard WanMor sing, we knew we could stop looking. They are IT! Supporting and cultivating true R&B talent is why I started Beautiful Life Productions, and I couldn’t be more proud to do this with these young men.”
