Video Premiere: Realize – “Nature Bot”

Metal

Got two minutes to spare? Cause that’s all we’re asking to get an earful of the new single and video, “Nature Bot,” from industrial metal quartet Realize. And fittingly enough, this track comes from the Tucson unit’s third full-length, Two Human Minutes. Though the band members themselves—Matt Mutterperl (guitars), Matt Underwood (guitars), Kyle Kennedy (vocals/bass/guitars/drum programming), Zack Hansen (electronics)—don’t appear in the black and white video, the message of machine vs. nature is put across quite forcefully in the grainy imagery and savage drum machine-driven metal grind.

Two Human Minutes was recorded in 2021 and 2022 and is set to be released on To Live A Lie Records in 2023 . It will be available for preorder here.

This is what the band had to say about its latest video:

“‘Nature Bot’ is about a machine that wishes [it] could experience nature, but is stuck in [its] cave repeating ‘within cells interlinked.’”
