Haunt are unleashing a new, furious stream of traditional heavy metal via their new single, “Chimera,” from their forthcoming album, Golden Arm, out May 5 via Grip Records and Church Recordings.
“‘Chimera’ is all about using your imagination,” says frontman Trevor William Church. “In music, we must always keep our imagination running wild.”
Golden Arm, which Haunt’s was recorded by Church and produced, mixed and mastered by Darren Trentacoste. The new song is a slice of classic NWOBHM riffs brought into the modern day by furious drumming and sharp production.
Since the band’s founding six years ago, they have released eight studio albums and multiple extended plays, including two splits, while also touring with bands like Satan, Unto Others, Night Demon and others.
