After a relatively quiet year, Macklemore makes some noise with “Chant”, his first single and music video of the year.
Backed by Budo’s triumphant production and Australian singer Tones And I’s glorious vocals, the powerful black-and-white clip finds Mack reflecting on his success from various places including a dip in the river, on a basketball court, and inside a church with a choir.
“Chant” is the Seattle superstar’s first music since last year’s “Next Year” featuring Windser and produced by Ryan Lewis.
