Usher Extends ‘Past Present Future Tour’

R&B

Usher is extending his highly-demanded Past Present Future Tour. The R&B superstar has added 10 new dates to the North American leg, including Seattle, Las Vegas, Vancouver and Phoenix.

With new dates added, USHER: Past Present Future will now kick off Aug. 16 in Atlanta, Georgia, where he will perform two nights — don’t worry, he will return to the A in October for three more shows.

From there, he will visit Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Dallas, and other cities before concluding Nov. 27 in Houston, Texas.

The majority of the tour stops will span multiple nights in each city.

Presale tickets for the added shows will be available for Citi cardmembers on Tuesday, Feb. 13. Additional presales will run throughout the week, before the tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, Feb. 16, at 10 a.m. local time.

Tickets for the previously announced dates (noted below) are on sale now.

On Sunday (Feb. 11), Usher headlined Apple Music’s Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 13-minute performance included appearances by Alicia Keys, H.E.R., Jermaine Dupri, Lil Jon, Ludacris and will.i.am.

“I was not exaggerating when I shared with the world that my performance would be a celebration of the past 30 years of my career,” says Usher. “I will never forget the energy from the cast & crew, the fans in the stadium, the guest performers and the adrenaline from this monumental milestone in my career. I’m so happy everyone enjoyed it, my goal always is to bring people together and feel good through my music and performance.”

Last Friday (Feb. 9), Usher released his ninth album, Coming Home, independently via his mega imprint and Larry Jackson’s gamma company. The 20-track album includes Usher’s No. 1 hit “Good Good” featuring Summer Walker and 21 Savage, as well as “Risk It All” featuring H.E.R., and “Ruin” featuring Pheelz.

“COMING HOME is an ode to going back to your roots, whatever or wherever that may be,” said Usher. “I’m COMING HOME to where I’m comfortable in being exactly who I am right now. My hope is that you identify with the new album no matter where you are or what you’re going through, too.”
