Trevor Jackson Wants a Full-Time Lover on ‘One Foot In’: Stream

Trevor Jackson is looking for someone who can stand ten toes down with him. The singer and actor has unleashed his new single “One Foot In,” produced by his brother Iyn Jay.

Over bright acoustics, Jackson confronts a lover whose inconsistent actions keep him in the dark. “You can’t love me with one foot and one foot out,” he croons.

“One Foot In” will appear on Jackson’s upcoming EP,I LOVE YOU, the first installment of his two-part album,I LOVE YOU, GOODBYE. The first half arrives Oct. 3 via Born Art/UnitedMasters.

“One Foot In” follows Jackson’s “Friend of a Friend,” released in July. The track will not appear on the EP but is expected to be on the full-length album.

According to press materials, I LOVE YOU, GOODBYE was made “during a period of personal upheaval, including the end of a six-year relationship” and will explore “themes of heartbreak, masculinity, and emotional healing.”

Jackson’s forthcoming EP will mark his first project since his 2024 album,It’s Complicated.

In acting news, Jackson will make his series regular debut on season 22 of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy on Oct. 9.
