Wyndrider

This week, Electric Valley Records offers a tantalizing taste of WyndRider‘s upcoming album Revival with the single “Under the Influence.” Formed just two years ago, the Tennessee-based stoner doom quartet has quickly become known for its hardworking ethos and heavy riffs that resonate through the mountain air.

Recorded with Danielle Fehr at The Wizard Productions, “Under the Influence” presents an unflinching look at life in the Bible Belt, melded with the raw, southern groove that WyndRider fans are learning to crave. The track embodies the spirit of the entire album, promising a refined sound that cuts to the core of Appalachian reality—smoke, mirrors, and all.

As WyndRider prepares to drop their sophomore album Revival on June 7, “Under the Influence” serves as the perfect precursor, capturing the essence of the band’s journey and the spirit of their music. As the band succinctly stated to Decibel, “Everybody is under the influence of something. Pick your poison.”

Don’t miss this first hit of WyndRider’s new material—stream “Under the Influence” below, and mark your calendars for the full album premiere via Decibel on June 5.
