Track Premiere: Demons – “Sweet Dreams”

Demons

Demons are gracing us with another track from their forthcoming album, Under The Western Heel, the heavy and sludgy “Sweet Dreams.”

Demons are a four-piece punk band from Norfolk, Virginia, and from the sounds of this track and their previous release, “Husk,” the Under The Western Heel is going to bring the sludgy, East Coast brutality times a hundred.

“Lyrically, ‘Sweet Dreams’ is a rationalization of the decision to play along in something that I know won’t end well,” says guitarist Zach Gehring. “It’s me attempting to get ahead of a forgone conclusion to protect myself from its eventual impact. It’s essentially a fool’s errand.”

Under The Western Heel sees release via Knife Hits Records and The Ghost Is Clear Records on July 21 via digital, cassette, and vinyl formats.
