Tinashe Shares ‘BB/ANG3L’ Album Tracklist

R&B

Tinashe has unveiled the tracklist for her upcoming album, BB/ANG3L, due Sept. 8 via Ricky Reed’s Nice Life Recording Company.

The album will contain seven tracks, including the singles “Talk To Me Nice” and “Needs.” The former song, released as the lead single, was co-produced by Nosaj Thing and Scoop DeVille, while Royce David and JonnyMade helmed the latter track.

Tinashe accompanied both tracks with supporting videos.

Regarding her forthcoming album, Tinashe explained, “For BB/ANG3L I was very inspired by the concept of identity. Exploring both how I self-identify and also challenging the perceptions of others.”

She continued, “I believe how we identify in this world is ultimately our own personal choice; and I’ve enjoyed stripping back layers of aesthetic fluff, smoke & mirrors, and white noise to get down to the core of myself. Who we are at a core level, when we are alone – raw & unfiltered, is what I want this album to reflect.”

BB/ANG3L will follow Tinashe’s previous album, 333, released independently in 2021. In early 2022, an expanded edition of 333 was released with four bonus tracks included.

For 333, Tinashe collaborated with Jeremih, Future, Kaash Paige, Buddy and more. It was among Rated R&B’s 30 Best R&B Albums of 2021 list.

Tinashe is currently prepping her set for a co-headlining fall tour with British artist Shygirl. The tour starts Oct. 28 and runs until Nov. 18.
