Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet no longer have to sneak around these days. When they first started seeing each other, they did their best to keep things as private as possible. Avoiding the press and staying out of the spotlight could be their path to preserving the relationship.
Based on how overly exposed her past romances with Tyga and Travis Scott were, it’s easy to assume as much. Fans who’ve been curious about Kylie and Timothée’s connection have had little to work with thanks to all their sneaking around.
But for those of us who are extra nosy for more tea, it looks like things might be turning around. Kylie’s no longer working behind the scenes to boost Timothée’s acting career like she did when they first started dating.
Kylie is Boldly and Unapologetically Supporting Timothée These Days
Let’s rewind to the 2023 premiere of Wonka. Kylie was there to show Timothée her support, but she didn’t hit the red carpet or pose for any pics with him. They didn’t even enter through the same door! Paparazzi captured pics of Kylie slipping in and out of a back entrance.
Kylie attended the Wonka premiere at the Regency Village Theatre along with her mom, Kris Jenner. She also attended the SNL after-party with Timothée, but they went out of their way to avoid pictures together.
Kylie supported Timothée at the Dune: Part Two premiere, jetting off on a private flight to London to celebrate the epic action movie he starred in with Zendaya. But again, the couple wasn’t interested in putting their relationship on blast at the time.
Fast forward to now, and it seems things have finally turned around. Kylie and Timothee spent Valentine’s Day 2025 celebrating A Complete Unknown, together in Berlin. They cuddled up together at the Berlin Film Festival, aware that tons of photos would be taken of their star-studded, gold-standard romance.
They laughed together and appeared to enjoy each other‘s energy. They knew all eyes were on them, and they were perfectly okay with that! A source told People, “She enjoys attending the events with him. She knows that his career is so important to him. She wants to be by his side for it all.”
So… Does this mean Kylie and Timothée will take their love story to Instagram — or episodes of The Kardashians — any time soon? If they’re no longer worried about maintaining their privacy as they once did — why not?

It’s obvious that Kylie’s treating her relationship with Timothée differently than she’s treated her past relationships. Two big clues? Kyle’s never posted a single selfie that includes him on IG, and she’s never once dropped his name on The Kardashians.
In contrast, she used to post consistent videos and pictures with Tyga while they dated off and on from 2015 until 2017. Tyga was a major fixture in Kylie‘s content during her “King Kylie era” on Snapchat. In an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kylie broke down in front of her sisters over the heartbreaking drama with Tyga before their split.
As for Travis, Kylie would casually post pics with him on Instagram whenever she felt like it, especially around Halloween when they’d dress up together. She even alluded to her relationship with Travis in episodes of her spinoff show, Life of Kylie.
The entire time she’s been dating Timothée, none of that has been a factor. Fans speculate it’s because she truly cherishes this relationship and doesn’t want overexposure to ruin anything. If she doesn’t want too many people chiming in with their opinions and sending negative vibrations her way, that’s totally valid.
After all, she went above and beyond showing the world the depths of her feelings and commitments with Tyga and Travis… sadly, both relationships failed. Maybe this time around, she’s doing what she can to avoid a crash-and-burn outcome.
If you’re holding your breath to eventually catch a glimpse of Timothée on upcoming episodes of The Kardashians, your lungs will explode. Don’t expect to see the Beautiful Boy actor join Kylie on Hulu — executive producer Ben Winston has pretty much crushed any hopes of that.
When asked directly about bringing Timothée onto the show, Ben told Variety, “Nothing I can say I can bring me good things on that. If I say, I hope to, then suddenly that’s a headline, and I don’t get any access. I can’t win on that. So, I can just say that we haven’t filmed anything.”
If the executive producer of The Kardashians is too freaked about mentioning Timothée’s possible appearance, it’s pretty clear it’s not happening.
Whatever the case may be, it’s exciting that Kylie no longer feels the need to sneak around to support Timothée’s skyrocketing Hollywood career.
