Tank’s “I Deserve,” the current single from his tenth and final album R&B Money, has moved into the No. 10 spot this week on the R&B radio chart. It leaped two spots and gained 172 new radio spins since last week.
This is Tank’s second top 10 appearance on the R&B radio format this year, following “Can’t Let It Show.” The Kate Bush-sampled track eventually peaked atop of this radio chart and the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay chart in late June. It stayed at number one for two consecutive weeks.
R&B Money, the follow-up to 2019’s Elevation, is scheduled to arrive on Feb. 4, 2022. Since his last album, Tank released a pair of EPs: While You Wait and Worth the Wait.
In other news, Tank’s first three albums were made available on streaming platforms for the first time in September. He also received an honorary doctorate from Harvest Christian University.
Tank also appears on Rotimi’s latest album All or Nothing on the track “Grown Decisions.”
