Tank’s new single “Before We Get Started” has landed on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart this week.
The Fabolous-assisted track opens at No. 26 on the chart presently led by Victoria Monét‘s “On My Mama.”
“Before We Get Started” isn’t Tank’s only appearance on the Adult R&B Airplay chart this week. Jon B.’s “Waiting On You,” which features Tank, has debuted at No. 30.
Tank now has 26 entries on the Adult R&B Airplay chart. Before the two previously mentioned songs, Tank last appeared on the chart with his Chris Brown-assisted “See Through Love.” The song debuted on the chart in February 2023 and reached No. 1 in May, tallying Tank’s eighth chart-topper.
“See Through Love” became the fourth song from Tank’s album, R&B Money, to reach the top of the summit. The album spawned other chart-toppers: “I Deserve” (one week at No. 1), “Can’t Let It Show” (two weeks at No. 1) and “Slow” featuring J. Valentine (two weeks at No. 1).
“Before We Get Started” is Tank’s first single since declaring 2022’s R&B Money as his final album.
On May 10, Tank will kick off The R&B Money Tour in New Orleans. He will be joined by fellow singers Keri Hilson and Carl Thomas as special guests. The trio will perform across the U.S., making stops in Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles and more, before concluding June 23 in Las Vegas.
