Tamar Braxton has announced a 10th anniversary tour in honor of her sophomore album, Love and War.

The Grammy-nominated singer shared the news Wednesday morning on The Quicksilva Show on Baltimore’s 92Q Jams.

The tour kicks off Oct. 24 at Irving Plaza in New York, New York. From there, Braxton will play in Atlanta, Georgia; Silver Spring, Maryland; Detroit, Michigan and more.

Ticket presale begins Thursday, Sept. 7. Tickets go on sale to the public this Friday, Sept. 8.

Love and War was released Sept. 3, 2013, via Streamline/Epic Records. The album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 114,000 copies sold in the first week.

Love and War was nominated for Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 56th Grammy Awards. The titular lead single also scored nods for Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance.

The song “Love and War” spent nine weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart. It was Braxton’s first No. 1 hit on this chart.

The album’s other singles also reached the top 10 on the Adult R&B Airplay chart, including “The One” (No. 2) and “All The Way Home” (No. 8).

Circling back to the title track, “Love and War” was certified platinum by the RIAA in October 2022 for selling over one million equivalent units. It’s Braxton’s only RIAA award to date.

Braxton’s tour announcement arrives while her current single “Changed” is heating up the Adult R&B Airplay chart.

The song, produced by haZEL and Chizzy, is No. 2 for a third consecutive week at the time of publication. It’s battling October London’s “Back To Your Place,” which has reigned atop the chart for three weeks.

“Changed” was released on Braxton’s birthday (March 17) via Tamar Braxton Productions and Platform Records. The song entered the top 10 on the Adult R&B Airplay chart in May.

Last fall, Braxton told her fans that the album she recorded “vanished into thin air.”

Braxton wrote, “Trust me putting out new music hasn’t been easy for me- although an ENTIRE project was ready and then vanished into thin air. I want you all to be just a little bit more patient while I start over, put my heart and soul into my new found feelings, finally feeling free enough to sing about the old ones and create new, better, memories with you all.”

She continued, “I’m counting on your inspiration to make this next album magic All over again.”

Braxton has yet to confirm the status of her highly awaited project that will follow 2017’s Bluebird of Happiness, which was dubbed as her final album at the time.
