Sylosis Announce U.K. and Ireland Tour

Metal

Intense and introspective metalers Sylosis just announced tour dates in the U.K. and Ireland in April. These will be the band’s first shows in Ireland since 2015, so we can bet they’ll be packed.

Check out the dates below:

4/3 Southampton, UK – Engine Rooms
4/4 Bristol, UK – The Fleece
4/5 Norwich, UK – The Waterfront Studio
4/6 Dublin, IRE – Whelan’s
4/7 Belfast, IRE – Limelight 2
4/9 Edinburgh, UK – La Belle Angele
4/1 Glasgow, UK – Cathouse
4/11 Leeds, UK – The Key Club
4/12 Colcester, UK – Arts Centre
4/13 Cardiff, UK – The Globe
4/14 Nottingham, UK – Rescue Rooms

This year, the band released the record A Sign Of Things To Come and shared a live video of their performance of the song “Pariahs,” which speaks to how good their live shows can be. It was filmed in London ion their Malicious Intent Tour with Malevolence.

Josh Middleton of the band says about that particular performance:

“The London show was an amazing night for us. We’ve been waiting so long to play these new songs live, and they’ve been going down so well—We’re performing the best we ever have! ‘Pariahs’ is a live favorite for all of us.”

About their latest record, which was produced by Scott Aktins, Middleton says that having someone else help steer the ship when it came to production was a major asset:

“This is the first time I’ve allowed myself to be produced, taking on some brutal criticism and pushing myself to deliver the best vocal performance of my career. I’m a big fan of progressive and long albums, but I was ruthless on myself during the whole process. I think that shows in the final result on the record.”

Hopefully we’ll get some new music soon, but until then, A Sign Of Things To Come definitely has the staying power to support some more touring.
