Summer Walker’s 2019 single “Playing Games” has been certified 3x multi-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), selling more than three million units. It’s Walker’s first RIAA award of 2021.
“Playing Games,” which interpolates Destiny’s Child’s hit “Say My Name,” is lifted from Walker’s platinum-selling debut album, Over It.
Speaking of albums, Walker has been quietly working on her follow-up to Over It. Although many details aren’t available just yet, Walker did tease fans with a snippet of a song in July.

While Walker has been focused on her next project, she has allocated time for a few collaborations. This year, she teamed up with Shelley FKA DRAM (“All Pride Aside”), Young Rog (“Bullsh*t”) and Sam Smith (“You Will Be Found”).
In 2020, she released her EP Life On Earth, which included appearances from NO1-NOAH, who is signed to her imprint Ghetto Earth Records, and PARTYNEXTDOOR.
