Stokley Releases New Song ‘Woman’

R&B

Stokley is back with a new song called “Woman” from his upcoming album, Sankofa. The KiDi-assisted tune arrives with an melanin-packed video, directed by REX.

The Afrobeat-flavored track finds both stars bowing to their designed helpmate, proclaiming they are nothing without them.

“I’m a king, but I still need my rib / Need a queen that can keep me grounded / Don’t need no mirror mirror on the wall to know there’s no world without a woman,” they sing.

This past spring, Stokley secured his fifth solo top ten R&B hit for “Cascade” featuring The Bonfyre. Prior to that, in 2020, his song “She…” soared to the top position on the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay chart, making it his first solo feat. In between both songs, Stokely shared the Snoop Dogg-assisted “Vibrant.”

The release date of Sankofa remains up in the air after it was previously teased to drop in April.
