You wouldn’t know it from our commenters, but Sleep Token‘s a big fucking deal this year. Thanks to their unique musical stylings and popularity on social media, the band blew the fuck up with the release of their latest album Take Me Back To Eden.
Earlier this month the band announced they’d be playing the iconic Radio City Music Hall in New York City on May 22, which honestly is a pretty huge honor given the history of that place. Well, it turns out the moment wasn’t lost on fans as that shit sold out in 10 minutes. Sure, it’s one venue that can seat a maximum of about 6,000 people, but that’s still pretty impressive to pull off in mere minutes.
Well, with that show now all booked up, the band announced earlier today that they’ve got yet another show set up at another iconic venue here in the U.S. — Red Rocks Amphitheater. Located outside of Morrison, Colorado, that venue can at least hold 9,500 people, give or take.
In addition to being a bigger show, it’s also sooner on the calendar, as it’s slated to take place on May 12, 2024. And let’s not kid ourselves here — this show’s going to sell out super fast too. But that’s nothing new for Sleep Token, as their entire North American tour sold out this past fall and they’ve sold out OVO Wembley Arena for a show taking place on December 16.
Tickets for the Red Rocks Amphitheater show will go on sale this Friday, December 15 at 10 a.m. local time over at the band’s official site. You can also scan for a chance to register your interest on a special page run by the band.
