Earlier this year, Sick Of It All made some interesting headlines when they sued hip hop group Mobb Depp over a dragon logo that they claim is too similar to their own.
The suite, which was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on October 11 by Sick Of It All’s record label Bush Baby Zamagate, Inc., complained that a dragon logo used by Mobb Deep since 1997 too closely resembles a dragon logo that Sick Of It All have allegedly been using since 1987. The clothing line Supreme is also named in the suit because they collaborated with Mobb Deep on the merch.
We’d personally rather see a musical collab between the two New York greats than a law suit, but regardless, we hope we can also expect some new music announcements from Sick Of It All, and some U.S. tour dates.
