It’s an exciting moment for festival organizers everywhere: you’ve finalized the list of bands set to perform on your stages and now’s the time to let the public know what’s up. Earlier today, the folks behind the annual event released the final batch of bands added to their lineup and it’s a doozy.
Set to take place in Stykkishólmur on the Snæfellsnes peninsula from June 4 to 6, this year’s event will now feature Behemoth frontman Nergal and Misþyrming playing Behemoth’s debut album Sventevith (Storming Near the Baltic). Additionally, the festival will include performances from post-hardcore outfit Gavin Portland, Swedish melodic death act The Haunted, and Múr.
Today’s additions now mean the full lineup is as follows:
