Singer and actress Ryan Destiny has returned with her new single, “How Your Hands Feel,” her first original song in a year.
The sultry tune, reminiscent of Rihanna’s “Kiss It Better,” finds Destiny longing for intimacy from a former lover. While she has moved on from their relationship, a part of her still craves his touch.
“You say my side is beside myself / But that’s where I’m at, yeah-yeah / If you can’t show me what’s good tonight / Then what’s good with someone else? / I try to forget / How your hands feel,” she sings on the velvety track.
Speaking on “How Your Hands Feel,” Destiny explains: “I wanted to step into my sensual side. The song is sexy but vulnerable as well. Missing someone and having to let them know the way they made you feel is not always easy but this song feels like the confident and forward version of that mood. A good double back anthem.”
“How Your Hands Feel” is the follow-up to Destiny’s cover of Khamari‘s “Doctor, My Eyes,” released earlier this month. Before that, she released her single “Lie Like That” in February 2023. Fans can expect more new music from Destiny soon.
