Rotimi Releases Two New Songs: ‘What to Do’ and ‘Decide’

R&B

Rotimi has dropped two new tracks: ”What to Do” and “Decide,” both produced by Hitmaka.

“What to Do” is a classic Hitmaka-crafted club anthem. The 808-heavy song goes smoothly with Rotimi’s melodic, soothing voice as he tells his girl she knows what to do when they hook up. Hitmaka’s signature ad-libs help add to the overall vibe of the feel-good record.

“Decide” also exemplifies Hitmaka’s standard production style when it comes to R&B. The drumming and the guitar of this mid-tempo track have a nostalgic feel to them, in sorts, taking the disguise of a mid-2000s R&B tune. Rotimi coos throughout how he wants his lady to call the shots about their bedroom fantasies.

Outside of these singles, the singer/actor recently teamed up with Precious for the song “Hey Boy” back in April.

Rotimi’s last solo single, “Love Somebody,” was released in November 2020. Other releases last year include a slew of features and his Unplugged Sessions EP. The project featured acoustic versions of songs from his last two EPs, including his December 2019 releaseThe Beauty of Becoming.
