The Roots have just announced the start-studded line-up for their annual music festival.
This year, the Roots Picnic will be held two days at The Mann at Fairmount Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Saturday June 4 and Sunday June 5.
Mary J. Blige will headline the event with an epic performance alongside The Roots. Other acts on the bill include Summer Walker, WizKid, Jazmine Sullivan, Kamasi Washington, Freddie Gibbs, Tierra Whack, G Herbo, Masego, Kirk Franklin, Robert Glasper, Bilal, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and Rakim, among others.
Black Thought, Rick Ross, and Benny The Butcher will partake in J Period’s Live Mixtape session, while Keyshia Cole, SWV, and Musiq Soulchild will be featured in the Soulquarians Jam Session.
