The Recording Academy has announced that the 66th Grammy Awards will broadcast live on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024, from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.
The ceremony will be available live on CBS or to stream on Paramount+ either live or on-demand.
The announcement of nominations for Music’s Biggest Night is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 10. This marks the first time since 2018 that the nominations will be revealed on a Friday.
To be considered for one of the 94 categories, including Album of the Year, Best R&B Song and Best New Artist, recordings have to be released between Oct. 1, 2022, and Sept. 15, 2023, instead of the previous deadline of Aug. 31. The eligibility period was extended by two weeks.
Changes have been made in anticipation of the 66th Grammy Awards. These changes include the relocation of existing categories, such as Producer Of The Year, Non-Classical and Songwriter Of The Year, Non-Classical, to the general field.

Other changes were made, such as reducing the number of nominees from 10 to eight in the categories of Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best New Artist.
